Privacy Policy

The Boozy Barbell ยท Effective October 1, 2026

This policy explains how The Boozy Barbell handles personal information collected through our website, Facebook and Instagram enquiry forms, class bookings, and fitness services.

Information we collect

When you contact us or submit an enquiry, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message. If you book a class or become a member, we also keep relevant booking, attendance, membership, session, and billing records. Payment information is handled through the payment services used for your purchase or membership.

Please do not include medical records, banking details, or other sensitive information in an advertising enquiry form. If information about your fitness needs or limitations is needed for training, we will explain why and ask you to provide it through an appropriate channel.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to enquiries; arrange free trial classes and consultations; manage bookings, attendance, memberships and payments; provide training services; and communicate about the services you request. We may also use service records to understand class participation and improve our business.

Submitting a free-class enquiry allows us to contact you about that enquiry and related membership questions. It does not book a class automatically or commit you to a paid membership. Promotional email updates are separate from service communications; you can unsubscribe from promotional messages or ask us to stop contacting you about an enquiry.

Services that process information

We use service providers to operate our business, including Squarespace for our website, booking tools for appointments or classes, Antaris for membership and attendance administration, email services for communication, and payment processors for billing. When you complete a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta processes the information under its own privacy policy and shares your submitted details with us.

We limit disclosure to what is needed to provide these services, to disclosures you authorize, or to disclosures required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information. Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. External websites and platforms have their own privacy policies.

Website cookies and analytics

Squarespace and integrated services may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the website and understand how it is used. Where advertising or analytics tools are enabled, they may process device, browser and website-interaction information. You can manage cookies through your browser and any choices presented on the website. Blocking cookies may affect some features. This policy does not itself provide consent for optional advertising tracking.

Protection and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to people and providers who need it for their work. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required.

Your choices and requests

You can contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent for optional uses, request deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Legal requirements and legitimate recordkeeping obligations may limit deletion; we will explain any applicable limitation. Withdrawing information needed to deliver a service may affect our ability to provide it.
